  • We have our bicycle safety field trip tomorrow!  Your child is encouraged to bring his/her bike helmet to school to use on the trip.
  • Please DO NOT attempt to remove the case from your child’s tablet.  Your child should also not try to do this on their own!   Some students within the district have attempted this and their tablet has literally broke in half.  The cases were extremely difficult to get on and therefore are extremely difficult to take off.

Save the Date: District 59 will be hosting three parent technology education evenings in October for all CCSD59 parents to share more information about our student device deployment and showcase how students are using the technology to amplify their learning. All three evenings will have the same content, and we invite you to attend whichever meeting best fits your schedule. More information to follow as the dates approach. Each meeting is scheduled from 6:30-8:00 PM.

October 15: Holmes Junior High
October 16: Friendship Junior High
October 21: Grove Junior High
