What a great 1st day of 3rd grade!!
A few items to take note of:
–Assignment notebooks have NOT yet arrived (but hopefully soon!). In the meantime your child will be taking home a single photo-copied sheet with their assignments written down on.
–Specials start tomorrow, 8/21. It will be an A day. Your child will have a note in their homework folder explaining which specials group they are in. Please let me know if you have questions.
The class was given homework today! They need to read a book of their choice for 20 minutes and practice math facts for 15 minutes. I recommend that they review addition and subtraction tonight to help prepare them for their upcoming in-class review packet. *Please remember to fill out their yellow math/reading response long daily!
