Happy Tuesday!

 

3rd grade is working hard on their multiplication facts!  They are currently working on their speed and accuracy.  A 100 question quiz is/will be given on each fact #1-12; currently students have been assessed on #1-7.  In order to “pass” they must answer 70 questions correctly in 5 minutes.  If they do not pass the assessment the first time, they will continue to retake that quiz until a score of 70 is obtained.  Each student is creating a bar graph of their progress.  These graphs will be shared with you in the spring at portfolio sharing conferences.

All of these quizzes are being sent home in your child’s Friday folder.  If the quiz was retaken, you will see “Retake #1” (#2, #3, etc.) highlighted at the top of the page.
