In your child’s homework folder you will find a document called “Student Device Responsible Use Contract”. Please read through this contract with your child and sign and return these forms as soon as possible. Also, take a look at the last page of the contract to read about the optional student device protection plan. As you may know, 3rd grade students will receive their Nexus 7 tablet and Chromebook next Wednesday (9/3).
Please remember to sign and return your child’s home reading/math log tomorrow (these are yellow and are on a 1/2 sheet of cardstock paper). I will collect these each Friday and they will bring home a new one.
We began discussing time today in math. A worksheet focusing on telling time to ‘half past’, ‘quarter to’ and ‘quarter after’ was assigned as homework.
