The topic of math class continues to be elapsed time. The class was given an assessment last Friday to provide data on their current understanding of elapsed time. Extension activities will be given throughout the week to those who have mastered the skill of elapsed time. Reinforcement activities will be given to those who need additional exposure and practice. Students are in the midst of correcting their tests, and they will be bringing their tests home later this week in their Friday folder.
This week I have sent home a spelling word list in addition to spelling cards. This list is on green paper. Some students requested to be given a list to use to take practice tests (completely optional!).
Goal setting conferences will take place Wednesday, Oct. 8th and Thursday, Oct. 9th. In last week’s Friday folder you should have found either a blue 1/2 sheet of paper with a time confirmation OR a blue full sheet of paper requesting you to choose a conference time. Please let me know ASAP if the time you have chosen no longer works for you.
