The class has been working on editing and proofreading writing during Integrated Literacy.  They were introduced to nine proofreading marks… these are capitalization, punctuation, adding a comma, removing words, adding words, spelling correctly, lower case letters, and indentation.  Please encourage your child to proofread and edit their daily response to reading.  This will help get them into a habit of editing their daily writing.  I appreciate your support!  Have a great weekend. 🙂
