Talk about tablets and chromebooks filled the 3rd grade classrooms and hallways today! In the photo below you can see students setting up and exploring their brand new chromebooks in the lab.  Students were given an email address (firstname_lastname@ccsd59.org).  This email address is also their username for various logins.  They were introduced to gmail and they sent out their very first email this afternoon (to me :))!  We will continue to explore these devices in more depth throughout the next several weeks.
