Good afternoon!  I hope you had an enjoyable 3-day weekend.

The PBIS focus for the month of September is being prepared for class.  This means that PAWS will be handed out when students are prepared.  Some examples of ways your child can show they are prepared is by bringing their homework folders to class daily as well as their completed homework. They can show they are prepared by having all their materials ready to go throughout the day.  In addition, starting Thursday, all 3rd graders will have their Nexus tablet and Chromebook that they are responsible for bring to school each day fully charged.

You can find new spelling cards in a ziploc bag in your child’s homework folder. This week the focus is on short vowels e, o, u. There will be a test on Friday.

 

 Reminders:

  • 3rd graders will be receiving their Nexus tablet and Chromebook tomorrow!
  • Our class will be rotating through ALL 3 specials tomorrow morning.  Everyone needs to bring/wear gym shoes.
  • 2:50 early dismissal tomorrow.
