Dear Parents,

Welcome to first grade.  I would like to take this opportunity introduce myself.  My name is Mrs. Pardiwala and I will be your child’s first grade teacher. I have been teaching in this district for over twenty  years.

I feel it is very important for parents to know their child’s teacher, so here is a little synopsis about me.  I am of an Indian descent.  I was born in India, but was mostly raised in the U.S.  I have been living in the United States for over 30  years.  I have studied here from grammar school on.  I received my Bachelors degree in Early childhood Education from Northeastern Illinois University.  I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University, and I have completed my Masters + 30 hours from St. Xavier University.  I am married, and have a two boys, Sameer who is 16 and Neal just turned 13.
