The caring and dedicated staff at Juliette Low create an environment where children and families feel welcome, safe, and are open to exploring their learning. There is an expectation that all students can be successful and we will make it happen by working together.

As we transition to the Common Core State Standards and implement 21st Century Learning Practices, one thing we will continually ask our students is, “show me the evidence”. We want students to go beyond reciting an answer to dig in and be able to site why? How did they figure it out? What information led them to that answer? You can help at home by asking these same questions. We are striving to develop 21st Century Learners that employ the highest degree of Collaboration, Creativity, Communication, Critical Thinking as well as Citizenship. We have developed systems to address the needs of all types of learners, from intervention, extension, and extended day support that challenge our students. Teachers are working harder than ever before tailoring instruction to match the needs of each and every student.

We firmly believe that the support of parents and the community is an integral part of the success of our school. Teaming together to help our students succeed is what makes Juliette Low a great place to learn. Parents are involved in many facets of our school, from volunteering in the classroom, library or at school events, to being active members of our PTO, Parent Teacher Organization. This is a critical stage in a child’s education. It is a time to foster independence and responsibility in children as they build their academic foundation. Please take some time to explore our website and get to know what our school is all about!
