Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)(es)

On behalf of the Juliette Low PTO, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning families. The Juliette Low Community is made up of three important components: the staff, the students and the parents. We have a fantastic staff here at Juliette Low and they work tirelessly to provide the best education possible for our students. The students, in turn, put forth their best effort to be our shining stars everyday and it is up to the parents to do our part to support them both.
All parents are encouraged to join the PTO, attend meetings and sign up for email and / or Facebook updates. Meetings are a great way to meet staff and get to know the parents. It is also a forum for your suggestions, questions and ideas. Suggestions are always welcome, please come and share your ideas with us!

All meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Teacher’s Lounge.

Our Mission as a PTO is as follows:

  • To enrich the student experience through fun and educational activities and events that are not otherwise available through the daily curriculum and the district budget. Examples: Book Fair, Cultural Arts, Explore More Day, Challenger Cup Soccer Tournament and Track & Field Day
  • To build community among children, parents, teachers, staff, and the neighborhood. Examples: classroom parties, Teacher Appreciation Week, Buzz Book, Ice Cream Social, 5th Grade t-shirts & field trip, Yearbook & Picture Day, Blizzard Nights and Spirit Wear
  • To improve the physical environment of the school and its surroundings, or within the classroom.

We all want the same thing for our children: that they receive the best education possible in a warm, nurturing environment. By sharing our talents we will continue to make Juliette Low a place where we “Make Learning Happen Together.”
