Letter from the PrincipalLetter from the Principal

Dear Parents,

On behalf of the faculty and staff at Juliette Low, it is my pleasure to welcome you and your student to a new school year. Juliette Low Elementary School is located in Arlington Heights, Illinois, a northwest suburban area of Chicago. Presently, we have approximately 350 students in kindergarten through 5th grade whom are very proud to be the Juliette Low Tigers. If you would like to learn more about our school, please continue to explore the website for further information.

As I continue my wonderful journey as the Juliette Low Principal, I am energized and deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our children. I believe very strongly that every child who walks through the Juliette Low School doors should feel safe, cared for and validated for who they are as an individual. When they have those pieces, they are open to learning. I feel passionately about instruction and providing a high quality education for our children. As we look into the future, our goal is to have every child be critical thinkers, problem solvers, effective communicators, and to understand other perspectives and cultures in order to be life-long learners. I look forward to building a strong partnership with you and our community in supporting your child’s academic, social and emotional growth.

On a personal note, my husband, Len, and I are the proud parents of two daughters, Maggie and Zoe. We live in Elmhurst and are enjoying the elementary school years of our daughters. In our free time, we enjoy anything outdoors such as hiking or biking. As we get to know each other this year, I hope you will share with me about your family and your enjoyments in life. Through the lens of both an educator and a mother, I firmly believe the partnership between our families and our schools is critical to the continued growth and success of our children. I consider it a great privilege to serve you and your children during their time at Juliette Low.

My door is always open and I look forward to a great year working with all the members of the Juliette Low community. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at (847) 593-4383 or via e-mail at [email protected]

Sincerely,

Mrs. Susan Ejma
